Great service and selection. I come here fairly often when I need some specialty things. Nuts and bolts etc. nice not to fight the crowds and traffic getting to the big box stores. Only drawback is, price. Always seems to be a little more expensive. Great place to exchange a propane tank. Can always get you in and out in a timely manner.

Was greeted nicely when I walked in and walked towards the hardware department for shelf pegs. Scott asked if I needed help and took me right to where they were and helped me select what I needed. Went to Home Depot before coming here to Great Lakes Ace and saw employees with their surgical gloves and face diapers on standing around, not one asked if I needed help and I walked up and down several aisles looking for what I needed, but who did try and help me? A fellow customer. Pathetic. Will definitely be shopping at Great Lakes Ace Hardware much, much more.

This store is the best, honestly. The service here is always top notch. The associates are always on point and willing to help with anything. I use the online app all the time to place an order and they always ahead of the game. Orders ready well within the promised time unless I ordered a huge amount of items which is well within understanding and the associates always willing to help load my truck. THE STORE IS CLEAN!!!!! can't tell you how many places I been and it's in shambles or completely lack of care for product placement/representation. Unless I absolutely have to for a specific product I always choose ace over orange square and the blue hardware store.
