DIY Spooky Halloween Yard Décor
Textured Metallic and Glow-in-the-Dark spray paint on a cat skeleton and pumpkin yard décor create a creepy vibe for Halloween’s trick-or-treat celebration.
Recommended Materials:
- Rust-Oleum® Glow-In-The-Dark Spray Paint
- Rust-Oleum® Textured Metallic Spray Paint
- Rust-Oleum® Protective Enamel Spray Paint
- Halloween Cat Skeleton
- "BOO" Letters
- Plastic Pumpkins
- Painter's Tape
- Hot Glue Gun
- Glue Sticks
- Drop Cloth
Step-by-Step:
- Make sure your Halloween props are clean and dry.
- Tape off any areas of your props you don’t want to paint.
- Over a drop cloth, spray textured paint on the cat skeleton according to the directions on the can.
- Let paint dry for at least 1 hour.
- While cat is drying, spray the textured metallic paint on the pumpkins, following the directions on the can.
- Let paint dry for at least 1 hour.
- To paint “BOO” letters with a glow-in-the-dark effect, first paint them white. After 20 minutes of dry time, apply the Glow-in-the-Dark paint. Dry for 1 hour and use a hot glue gun to attach them to the pumpkins.
